Academic and Language Support
ISGL provides tailored academic support designed to help students excel in their studies
- Academic Advising: The Dean, Assistant Deans and academic faculty offer guidance on course planning, study strategies and progression.
- Tutoring & Study Skills Workshops: Regular academic skills sessions to strengthen learning, writing and referencing.
- Faculty Mentoring: Lecturers hold consultation hours for one-on-one assistance.
- English Language Assistance: Students requiring additional language support are referred to approved language specialists to help build confidence in academic communication.
IT Support
Our Information Technology Services (ITS) team ensures reliable and secure access to ISGL’s learning systems.
- Campus-wide Wi-Fi and secure login for Moodle and Meshed SMS.
- Helpdesk assistance available from 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Guidance on responsible IT use, data privacy and system access.

Counselling and Wellbeing
Your mental health and wellbeing are central to your success.
- Student Counsellor: Confidential personal counselling to assist with stress, adjustment or personal challenges.
- Buddy Program: New students are paired with senior peers for orientation and community connection.
- External Support Network: ISGL maintains links with professional counsellors and 24/7 emergency services (Lifeline 13 11 14, 1800 RESPECT).
- Workshops: Regular wellbeing and resilience sessions during Orientation and throughout the semester.
Career Support
The Office of Career Excellence guides students from study to employment.
- Career Planning & Coaching: One-on-one sessions to define career goals.
- Resume & Interview Workshops: Practical preparation for job search and industry engagement.
- Industry Connections: Access to internship and project opportunities through the Industry Engagement Committee.
- Professional Development: Participation in the Pathway to Professional Mastery Program to build leadership and workplace readiness.
Disability and Accessibility Support
ISGL is committed to providing an inclusive learning environment.
- Students with disabilities, temporary injuries, or chronic conditions are encouraged to disclose their needs confidentially to the Registrar or Student Counsellor.
- Individual learning plans and reasonable adjustments are coordinated in consultation with academic staff.
- Campus facilities comply with accessibility standards and provide safe access to classrooms, amenities, and learning spaces.
